I am a curator of contemporary art in Berlin with a background in cultural and media studies.

In addition to my work as co-director of the Büro für kuratorische Forschung (bureau for curatorial research) and chair of the board of the Kunstverein Tiergarten , I also work as an editor and preliminary reviewer for art in architecture tenders. I gained teaching experience at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and the Bauhaus University Weimar, where I am working on my dissertation on historical exploration of the deep sea. I have catalogued large parts of the ‘Artist Files’ of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice and of the Mail Art Archive of Ruth Wolf-Rehfeldt and Robert Rehfeldt , and conduct research on the mediality of Mail Art, among other topics.

In my curatorial practice, I explore the relationships between knowledge, collections, and art, provoking multi-layered dialogues between contemporary art, everyday objects, scientific instruments, and archival materials.
