I am a curator of contemporary art in Berlin with a background in cultural and media studies.

In addition to my work as co-director of the Büro für kuratorische Forschung (bureau for curatorial research) and chair of the board of the Kunstverein Tiergarten in Berlin, I publish in the fields of art, media studies, and cultural studies, and work as a preliminary examiner for art-in-architecture tenders. I have teaching experience at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and the Bauhaus University Weimar, where I am working on my dissertation on the historical exploration of the deep sea.
I have catalogued large parts of the “Artist Files” of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice and of the Mail Art Archive of Ruth Wolf-Rehfeldt and Robert Rehfeldt , and conduct research on the mediality of Mail Art, among other topics.

In my curatorial practice, I explore the relationships between knowledge, collections, and art, initiating open and multifaceted dialogues between contemporary artistic practices, everyday objects, scientific instruments, and archival materials.
